The ‘Pseudo-Ethics’ Of Social Justice In Economics, Politics And Religion

Introduction

“Social Justice” is a phrase that you see everywhere today. Global Warming is all about social justice. The United Nations sponsors an annual World Day of Social Justice.  The Peaceful Uprising  website states that Climate Change Is A Social Justice Issue.
The U.N.’s own website states,
“For the United Nations, the pursuit of social justice for all is at the core of our global mission to promote development and human dignity. The adoption by the International Labour Organization of the Declaration on Social Justice for a Fair Globalization is just one recent example of the UN system’s commitment to social justice.” [emphasis added]
One Christian blogger recently wrote,
“As we strive for social justice and attempt to love our neighbors, are we relying on Christ, or are we relying on the military, political leaders, the government, church authorities, institutions, and abusive ideologies?” [emphasis added]
Social justice is a slippery bar of soap, but it surely sounds important, doesn’t it?
The term has a long history, definitive philosophy and uniformly disastrous results to any society who dared to embrace it. Plus, others have written extensively about it.

Spoiler ahead. According to famed Austrian economist F.A. Hayek, social justice nothing more than “pseudo-ethics” that “fails every test which a system of moral rules must satisfy in order to secure a peace and voluntary co-operation of free men.”1

Critical Issues for Local Activists - #1

Critical Issues for Local Activists

Are you certain that you are not needed in the cleanup effort in your community or county? The evidence is to the contrary. America has been inundated by Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development policies down to the smallest local level. Only local citizens can change this… and that means you!

Here are some areas that need immediate and continuing attention. Pick a topic, grab some fellow citizens, roll up your sleeves and get to work. Persistence and persuasion invariably get positive results.

#1: Abandon ICLEI membership (County/City)

ICLEI is an international organization that sells memberships to local cities and counties, and then promotes material and consultants to transform the member into compliancy with global standards for sustainable development.

ICLEI stands for “International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives” but the organization changed its name to Local Governments for Sustainability. It’s mission statement declares, “By helping our Members to make their cities and regions sustainable, low-carbon, resilient, ecomobile, biodiverse, resource-efficient and productive, healthy and happy, with a green economy and smart infrastructure, we impact over 20% of the world’s urban population.”

Ed.: Other issues will be posted in a series. They include:
2. Discard Common Core Education Standards (City/County)
3. Anti-Geoslavery Ordinances Needed (City/County)
4. Equality in Separation of Church and State Issues (City/County)
5. Voting Down General Plans That Promote Sustainable Development (City/County)
6. Public-Private Partnerships (City/County)
7.  Educating your County Sheriff on Constitutional Responsibilities (County)
8.  Smart Growth Land Use Policies (City/County)
9.  Councils of Governments (City/County)

Rae: 14th Session of the Provisional World Parliament

14th Session of the Provisional World Parliament

Global Governance: Step-by-Step, Inch-by-Inch

by Debra Rae

Step-by-step, inch-by-inch, “national identities and individual religions appear to be morphing into nondescript and indistinguishable arrangements to some unidentified whole.”[ii] In the race to global governance, the “inner voice of humanity” purportedly begs for “a pure moment of one” whereby the clear boundary between physics and metaphysics is obliterated; and scientific study of the universe[iii] defers to its worship.[iv]

Making sense of this twaddle, we’re told, “will call for a World Parliament to continually build the body of world law, modeling the way human problems are properly addressed. It also demands immediate action to establish democratic world government in accordance with the Constitution for the Federation of Earth.”[v] But: Who’s doing this building and modeling? And: “What worldviews inform that work?” Claiming to be wise, the so-called “collective voice” of humanity is advised by cosmic humanists, illuminists, and theosophists who exchange the glory of the immortal God for mere images that resemble creation. In a word, the global mind, thusly debased, devises evil.[vi]

When cornered by ear tickling, peace-and-harmony tripe, we wisely take pause. Consider, for example, the Human Rights Council. This inter-governmental body within the United Nations was charged with strengthening and protecting human rights worldwide. However, among the foxes elected to oversee the henhouse of human rights were some of the world’s worst offenders—e.g., Cuba, Egypt, Pakistan, Libya, and Iran. [Entire article...]

The 2nd monthly FREE Webinar to teach activists how to stop Agenda 21!

Hosted by

Tom DeWeese and

The American Policy Center

AmPolCen

The second online event is entitled:

Attack of the NGOs

The presentation cover the following information:

  • Who is behind Agenda 21 and the details on their powerful connections and massive funding?
  • How do they get the official NGO designation and who gives it to them?
  • How have they brought Agenda 21 and sustainable development into every community in America?
  • How do they operate with government entities?
  • Most importantly, how to get rid of them in your community!!!

For this second session, my special guests will be:

  • Dr. Michael Coffman, the man who created the Biodiversity Map. Dr. Coffman has attended international conferences where sustainable policies have been created. He is a renowned expert on Smart Growth policy and on the philosophical root that drives these NGOs to try to change America.
  • Roanoke County, VA Property Rights Activists Linda Stowe LaPrade. The Roanoke Board of Supervisors just expelled ICLEI and shut down the programs it was responsible for putting in place. That has sent shock waves through the Sustainablists. She will tell you how they did it!

In much the same way Mao Tse Tung had his Red Guards, so the UN has its NGOs!
You need to know who they are and how they operate.

That’s why you need to join me in these monthly webinars to learn how to STOP AGENDA 21.

I will begin by providing an introduction to Agenda 21. Each month we will go into more depth about the issue and the tactics necessary to fight. I will expose the documents that directly tie the American Planning Association and government programs to Agenda 21--the documents they deny exist.

I will bring in experts from the field. In August, we will continue to expose the NGOs with two more experts: Ron Arnold, author of a series of books on the NGOs, including “Trashing the Economy” and “Undue Influence.” Ron is one of the nation’s most knowledgeable experts on NGOs and their web of funding that makes them so powerful.

Also, in the August webinar I will bring in Craig Rucker of the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT). Craig attends every major UN international meeting and uses Guerilla Theater to expose them. He has met them, debated them, and caused the NGOs major problems.

There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions at the end of each webinar.

The second Stop Agenda 21 Webinar is scheduled for Sunday evening, July 13 at 6:00pm EDT.

The first webinar from June 8 is now online in the APC website archives. www.americanpolicy.org/webinars
It’s all Free. All you have to do is sign up.

Signup now for the webinar

Please share this important notice with your entire list of activists and friends. Post it on your websites and on Facebook. We were pleased that 1200 activists signed up for the first webinar. Make sure you don’t miss out!

Now is the time to organize like never before. We need to build an army of informed and effective activists using the best tactics to stop Agenda 21.

Now is the time to Stop Agenda 21 and restore American Freedom!

Thank you!

Henry and Tommy never gave up. They believed that freedom must be our destiny. Without such souls there would be no freedom. It is they who drag the rest of us toward the light of Freedom’s torch. They’ve done their part.

The freedom movement lost two courageous leaders this past month. Our movement is poorer for their passing, but our nation’s richer from their lives.

Kerry slams ‘disgraceful’ climate denial

By Ben Geman - 06/19/12

Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) on Tuesday said there’s a “calculated campaign of disinformation” on climate change that has stalled action on the issue and endangered the country.

“We are living through a story of disgraceful denial, back-pedaling and delay that has brought us perilously close to a climate change catastrophe,” Kerry said.

JOHN KERRY: GLOBAL WARMING SKEPTICS 'DISGRACEFUL'

by TONY LEE 20 Jun 2012breitbartLogo

In 2010, Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) tried to pass sweeping cap and trade legislation that dealt with climate change and failed. Now, Kerry’s throwing a fit.

On Tuesday, Kerry, according to The Hill, said there is a “calculated campaign of disinformation” on climate change and made a “a strong economic case for tackling climate change and boosting green energy” and argued for a “transformative moment in our politics.”

“We are living through a story of disgraceful denial, back-pedaling and delay that has brought us perilously close to a climate change catastrophe,” Kerry said, in comments picked up by The Hill.

ALABAMA TAKES A STAND AGAINST SOROS-BACKED ‘AGENDA 21’ #tcot

Posted on June 8, 2012 at 3:05pm by Becket Adams Becket Adams The Blaze

Although the U.N.’s George Soros-backed plan for “Sustainable Development” (also known as “Agenda 21”) seems to have gone largely unnoticed by many Americans, the shadowy, backdoor attack on personal property rights didn’t slip past the people of Alabama.

“Alabama recently passed Senate Bill 477 unanimously in both of its houses. The legislation bars the taking of private property in Alabama without due process,” Investor’s Business Daily reports.

The bill specifically states the following:

Alabama and all political subdivisions may not adopt or implement policy recommendations that deliberately or inadvertently infringe or restrict private property rights without due process, as may be required by policy recommendations originating in or traceable to Agenda 21.

But let’s back up for a bit and talk more about “Agenda 21.” If you haven’t heard of it, you owe it to yourself to read up on it. Simply put, it’s an international initiative that overrides personal property rights all in the name of the environment and “sustainability.”

Schlafly: Defeat Law of the Sea Treaty–Again–#tcot

By Phyllis Schlafly May 16, 2012

The stunning repudiation of Sen. Richard Lugar's, R-Ind., bid for a seventh term has sent shock waves through Washington's internationalist lobby. A former Rhodes Scholar, Lugar has spent his career promoting a globalist agenda, since he succeeded the late Jesse Helms as the top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

One day after Indiana Republicans handed Lugar his walking papers, an outfit called the Atlantic Council held a forum to promote the discredited Law of the Sea Treaty. As former Republican U.S. Sens. Chuck Hagel and John Warner beamed their approval, Obama's Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta declared that "the time has come" for the Senate to ratify the treaty.

Hagel, Warner and Lugar share an internationalist mindset. All three senators supported "comprehensive immigration reform" (aka amnesty) bills that failed to pass Congress in 2006 and 2007. In support of LOST, they are joined by former Republican Sen. Trent Lott, now a high-priced lobbyist who no longer answers to his former Mississippi constituents.

The UN Plan For Running The World: Global Carbon Taxes, Global Safety Nets And A One World Green Economy

Did you know that the UN has a plan for running the world and it is right out in the open?  It is called "sustainable development", but it is far more comprehensive than it sounds.  The truth is that the UN plan for running the world would dramatically alter nearly all forms of human activity.  A 204 page report on "sustainable development" entitled "Working Towards a Balanced and Inclusive Green Economy, A United Nations System-Wide Perspective" has been published in advance of the upcoming Rio + 20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro.  You can read the full report right here.  It envisions a vast system of global carbon taxes, massive global safety nets and the implementation of a one world green economy.  Many of those that are pushing "sustainable development" on a global level believe that they are doing it for the good of the planet.  In fact, the 204 page report mentioned above even says that the transition "to a green economy requires a fundamental shift in the way we think and act" but that it will be worth it in the end.  What people need to understand is that throughout modern history tyranny has almost always been initially introduced by people that believed that they had "good intentions".  No matter how much friendly language the UN uses in their reports, the truth is that what they are promoting is an insidious agenda of absolute tyranny on a global scale.

The upcoming Rio + 20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro comes 20 years after the original 1992 UN Earth Summit that adopted "Agenda 21".  This new summit will be about renewing that commitment to "sustainable development" and moving that agenda forward.

EPA’s Plans for Implementing UN’s Agenda 21–#tcot

Written by  Larry Greenley NewAmericanlogo

One of the most successful grassroots campaigns during the past year has been the Stop Agenda 21 movement both at the local level and state level. However, we haven’t heard as much about Agenda 21 implementation at the national level.

Of course, there were President Bill Clinton's establishment of the President’s Council on Sustainable Development by executive order in 1993 and President Obama's “Federal Leadership in Environmental, Energy, and Economic Performance” executive order in 2009. And, many federal agencies have been incorporating sustainability into various aspects of their organizations. Still, virtually all Stop Agenda 21 grassroots activity has been focused on the local and state levels.

Lamb: Agenda 21’s Role in America’s Financial Breakdown – #tppatriots

By Henry Lamb April 30, 2012

For more than 20 years, now, the most powerful word in advertising has been “sustainable.” This term sells everything from toilet paper to spark plugs. This same term is even more powerful when applied to public policies such as: “sustainable” energy; transportation; agriculture; development; housing, and almost every other policy considered by government. When the term “sustainable” is used to sell a product, the product will be more expensive and less efficient than it has to be. When the term “sustainable” is used to sell a public policy, the policy will not only be more expensive and less efficient, it will be controlled by the government, and it will ultimately fail.

Before 1990, the term “sustainable” was rarely heard. Today, the term saturates all media every day. Everyone knows the term; few people know what sustainable development is, or the effect it is having on communities, or the ultimate goal of its proponents, or how it gets into public policy.

Agenda 21 is a document adopted by 179 nations at the 1992 U.N. Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro. Its 40 chapters contain specific recommendations, which, when adopted and implemented by governments, will result in sustainable development, according to its proponents. Since 1993, the federal government has been promoting and funding the implementation of Agenda 21 recommendations throughout the country.

“PC” power is not “sustainable” - #tcot

President Obama’s “all-inclusive” energy policy is anything but!
by MARY KAY BARTON | April 10, 2012
Source: CFACT
President Obama’s mantra du jour for his 2012 campaign speeches is “all-inclusive” energy. Any business touting this version of “all-inclusive” would be prosecuted for false advertising.
When the President says “all-inclusive,” he means politically correct (PC) “green” energy (wind, solar and bio-fuels), and nothing that actually provides reliable, affordable power – especially not hydrocarbons. Another PC buzzword – “sustainable” – is right out of the United Nation’s Agenda 21 Protocol and the President’s goal of “fundamentally transforming” America.
Increasing pain at the pump and plug underscore the reality that Mr. Obama’s energy policies are anything but all-inclusive, and his PC power is anything but sustainable – though they certainly are transforming our country. In fact, if the Keystone XL pipeline's oil were used to generate electricity, it would provide more energy than all existing US wind and solar installations combined.

MARTIN COUNTY REPUBLICAN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE RESOLUTION REJECTS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Last night (09Apr2012) the Martin County Republican Executive Committee voted on a Resolution (presented by Mona Leonard, precinct committeewoman) to expose Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development. The vote was taken by voice and was overwhelmingly passed. There were NO opposing voices.

Chairwoman Susan Auld was supportive and extremely helpful in presenting this resolution to the members.

Text of Martin R.E.C. Resolution:MCGOPlogo

09 April 2012

RESOLUTION OF THE MARTIN COUNTY REPUBLICAN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

FOR EXPOSING UNITED NATIONS AGENDA 21

WHEREAS, the United Nations Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of extreme environmentalism, social engineering and international political subterfuge that was initiated at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992; and

WHEREAS, the United Nations Agenda 21 is being covertly pushed into local communities throughout the United States of America through the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) through local “sustainable development” policies such as Smart Growth, Wildlands Project, Resilient Cities, Regional Visioning Projects, and other “Green” or “Alternative” projects; and

LIES AND DOUBLESPEAK OF AMERICAN PLANNING ASSOCIATION

And How to Fight Back

I don’t know about you, but when I take on a cause or a project I’m proud of what I do. I support it against all detractors and nay-sayers because I believe in it. So, when proponents of a cause suddenly start to hide what they are doing, or deny they are even doing it – that should set off alarm bells and raise questions about the honesty and legitimacy of that cause. Case in point, when evidence emerged that the Earth was actually cooling instead of heating, the alarmists didn’t miss a beat as they changed the predicted disaster from Global Warming to Climate Change. These are cleaver guys.DeWeese_com_hdr

Such is the case now with the enforcers of Agenda 21 and its policy called Sustainable Development. For the past several years, those imposing this policy have denied its United Nations origins, ignoring the many documents that clearly prove that the very term “sustainable development” can easily be traced back to the 1987 UN report titled, “Our Common Future.” That radical report has been used by the UN as a virtual springboard for a “wrenching transfor- mation” (Al Gore’s words) of human society. The words “sustainable development” are used in nearly every federal, state, and local development plan; on nearly every federal, state, and local government web site; and in nearly every public statement on new development policies. We even had a President’s Council on Sustainable Development, created by an Executive Order of Bill Clinton, with the stated purpose to impose the policies of Agenda 21 into United States law. Many serving on the Council helped write Agenda 21, including John Sawhill of the Nature Conservancy, Jay Hair of the National Wildlife Federation and Michele Perrault, international Vice President of the Sierra Club.

GLOBAL POVERTY ACT IS BACK - #tcot

by Tom DeWeese
January 11, 2012 SOURCE
NewsWithViews.com
He might be a whiz kid at creating computer software, but beyond that Bill Gates has proven time and again that he hasn’t a clue about why or how freedom works.
He constantly teams up with anti-free market types like the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) to produce “educational programs” in his software packages, misdirecting unsuspecting children with political propaganda. In 2002 he gave the NWF $600,000 worth of software to help these environmental radicals run their programs to block the drilling of American oil. Apparently Gates doesn’t understand that he needs oil to create power to run computers. Most recently his Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation donated $3 million to eight universities to reinvent the flush toilet. Environmentalists call that device “one of the world’s most destructive habits.”
Clearly Gates is a captive of his own wealth, suffering the usual rich man’s guilt over being rich – rushing full speed ahead to “give back to the world.” Funny how such giving back always seems to mean supporting socialist causes with money gained from the free market. Up till now, Gates has just been giving his own money voluntarily. Even if it’s to bad causes, he is certainly free to use his money anyway he chooses.
Now, however, his misguided meddling is about to involve the misdirecting of everyone’s income, and so the world’s richest useful idiot just became dangerous to freedom.

AGENDA 21: THE END OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION PART 1

PART 1

By Kathleen Marquardt
January 21, 2012
NewsWithViews.com

Wake-up call, Part 1

“Global sustainability requires the deliberate quest of poverty, reduced resource consumption and set levels of mortality control.” -Professor Maurice King

Birth of an abomination

In simple terms Agenda 21/Sustainable Development is the end of civilization as we know it. It is the end of private property, the elevation of the collective over the individual. It is the redistribution of America’s wealth to the global elite, it is the end of the Great American Experiment and the Constitution. And, it is the reduction of 85% of the world’s population.

In 1992, twenty years ago this summer, Agenda 21/Sustainable Development was unveiled to the world at the UN’s Earth Summit in Rio. (While Agenda 21 was introduced in June, 1992, it was already installed as public policy in communities across the country as early as 1987.)

In his opening remarks at the ceremonies at the Earth Summit, Maurice Strong stated: “The concept of national sovereignty has been an immutable, indeed sacred, principle of international relations. It is a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the new imperatives of global environmental cooperation. It is simply not feasible for sovereignty to be exercised unilaterally by individual nation states, however powerful. The global community must be assured of environmental security.” If this is true, then he and his cohorts must be even more against individual sovereignty. Keep this quote in mind as you read about Agenda 21.
