DHS/Fusion Centers Co-Opted To Spy On Patriots Concerned About Islam

During the Obama years, several Muslim individuals were placed into high-level positions at the Department of Homeland Security and who were also formative in the creation of Fusion Centers all over the U.S. The stated purpose of the Fusion Center initiative was to deter terrorism, but later government studies showed a complete failure to live up to its original mission. Despite being publicly discredited, Fusion Centers are still in full operation today, and it seems that another purpose-for-existence has surfaced: To spy on citizen activists who are concerned about Islam.  Brenda Arthur received an unexpected visit on March 8 that, one week later, leaves her feeling more than a little uneasy.

At her door that day was an officer with the West Virginia State Police. He wanted to know about her involvement in a Freedom of Information request regarding a local mosque.

Arthur, who will turn 67 this summer, serves as leader of the West Virginia chapter of ACT For America, whose mission is to educate Americans about the advancement of Islamic principles in Western societies.

The March 12th meeting of the Members of the Martin 9/12 TeaParty Committee was busy as usual. You could tell that the next election season is upon us with the appearance of candidates who need to spread the word of their hard work.

Rebecca Negron (L) spoke to the Members about issues regarding the Martin County School Board. Stacy Heatherington, Republican State Committeewoman for Martin County, is a candidate for County Commissioner for District 2 (Stuart and East Stuart). Both candidates asked for signatures for their candidate petitions.

Cynthia Lucas related the history of this Committee's work in vetting candidates in the 2010 and 2012 election cycles. The importance of examining the candidacy of our representatives before the Primaries was illustrated by recalling several disappointing performances from recently elected officials who were not proprly evaluated before receiving Party support.

Our guest speaker was Billy Vaughn (father of slain Navy Seal Aaron Vaughn) who spoke of his support of the organization known as, "Understanding the Threat." Speakers offer strategic and operational training and consulting on the threat of the global Islamic movement to law enforcement agencies across the country.

Billy Vaughn showed a Powerpoint presentation which recounted the exposure of persons in our country who have been shown to be threats to the American way of life. The real threat is known to be subversive activity which is being overshadowed by the more sensational terrorist activities around the globe. He also urged the Members to encourage all law enforcement leaders in our area to host a UTT 3-day program to recognize the threat.

For many years, I was reluctant to write a memoir of my experience leading the investigation and prosecution of the jihadists against whom we are still at war over 20 years later. For one thing, while an exhilarating experience for a trial lawyer, it was also a very hard time for my family, for obvious reasons. Also, with all the tough judgment calls we had to make, we inevitably made some mistakes — “we” very much including me. A triumphant outcome has a pleasant way of bleaching away any memory of errors; to write honestly about the case would mean revisiting them. Who needed that?

And about that triumph: I had, and have, a gnawing sense that we failed. Yes, the conviction of the Blind Sheikh and his henchmen was a great law-enforcement success. Throughout the long trial and in the years that followed, though, I came to appreciate that national security is principally about keeping Americans safe, not winning court cases. Sure, winning in this instance meant justice was done and some terrorists were incarcerated. How safe, though, had we really kept Americans?

For all the effort and expense, the number of jihadists neutralized was negligible compared to the overall threat. The attacks kept coming, as one might expect when one side detonates bombs and the other responds with subpoenas. As the years passed, the tally of casualties far outstripped that of convicted terrorists. When 9/11 finally happened, killing nearly 3,000 of our fellow Americans, al-Qaeda credited none other than the Blind Sheikh with issuing the fatwa — the sharia edict — that authorized the attack. We had imprisoned him, but we had not stopped him.

How Muslim Culture differs from our American Culture

So, what would a nation ruled by dedicated Muslims be like and how would it be contrary to the Constitution? Read and weep:

• In court, for a woman to prevail in a rape case she must have four men to testify she was raped. Has anyone asked why four men would permit a woman to be raped? Often the rape victim is punished!
• All females will be sexually mutilated by removing the clitoris. This “surgery” is illegal yet common in England and no one has been prosecuted! However, it is illegal to spank a child and there are numerous prosecutions!
• Everyone will be a Muslim or pay an excessive tax.
• Any Muslim who wants to convert to Christ will be killed and the one who led him away from Islam will be killed!
• A Muslim man can divorce his wife but the wife must have permission to divorce her husband.
• No pork, no rock music, no booze, no nudity on television or movies. (Well, I didn’t say that everything about Islam was bad!)
• No skin will show on female bodies. Ladies will no longer wonder, “What will I wear today?” You know what you will wear! It is black and covers your whole body.
• There will be no separation of mosque and state. You will be controlled by the Muslim imam down at the local mosque.
• Your state and nation will be run by Muslim clerics.
• There can be no criticism of  the Koran or Islam, or even joking about it under penalty of death!
• Four wives will be permissible and if necessary, they can be legally beaten.
• All school children will memorize the Koran and repeat each day, “In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate” and you will hear the call to prayer five times each day. Omar Ahmed the founder of the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR). "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran is the highest authority in America and Islam is the only accepted religion on the earth."
• Muslims are allowed to lie under Sharia in order to deceive Non-Believers  (Taqiyya as it is called)

Now, in light of the above facts, it would be insane to permit any Koranic Muslim to run for any U.S. office. The illiterate camel-driver Mohammed, wants to totally revolutionize your world.

Dr. Ben Carson did not belch the foul breath of prejudice, but the fresh breath of preference, precision, and perspective. However, a man of convictions is so unusual, he is seen as unnatural and unacceptable by the non-thinkers.

• In July 2013, 22 employees of Al Jazeera resigned after the station “air[ed] lies and misle[d] viewers” (according to Al Jazeera correspondent) regarding the Egyptian revolution on July 4, which ousted Muslim Brotherhood president Mohamed Morsi.
• Al Jazeera is home to the Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual leader (and Morsi-backer) Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who reaches an estimated 80 million viewers each week.

In light of Al Jazeera’s consistent and vocal support for the Muslim Brotherhood and their associated terror campaigns, we ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar’s activities. The links cited are vetted and credible sources. We hope you take the time to verify the truth of the statements for yourself.

Comments 40      I could not more vigorously disagree with my friend Daniel Pipes, who disappointingly lays fault for yesterday’s carnage at the feet of Reverend Terry Jones. In essence, Daniel — like much of the progressive, bipartisan U.S. ruling class — adopts the reasoning of Muslim Brotherhood jurist Yusuf Qaradawi, who admonishes that women who fail to conform to fundamentalist Islam’s restrictive sartorial standards have only themselves to blame when they get raped.      Let’s say Terry Jones was Imam Terry Jones. It is not hard to imagine because there goes by not a day when some Islamist leader of far more consequence than Jones matter-of-factly spouts hatred of America and the West that is more provocative, and more representative of his country or region, than anything that has ever passed Jones’s lips. Would it make you riot? Would it make you commit murder? Would it foment more than a yawn? And if it did stir so much as a suggestion that this typical Muslim leader should be silenced, the only public protests and pious government caterwauling would be directed at that suggestion, not at the anti-American incitements that prompted it.

Why we cannot ALL be Libertarians

We posted a previous article (Jack Hunter video) which explained Rep. Ron Paul’s view on the illegality of unilateral military action (assassination) against an “enemy” combatant, citizen or otherwise. This blog post from chanel on USMessageBoard.com goes a long way to explaining the history of the other side, which, boiled down, says that wartime behavior is not covered by our Constitution and we should not pretend that it is. We subscribe to other “conventions” of war and those are the subjects of Congressional approval. The U.S. Constitution constructs the framework for civil society in the U.S. and when that civility is attacked, it must be defended, sometimes at war. Attackers who make war on the U.S. repudiate the Constitution, and thereby relinquish the protections that otherwise flow from it (imho). On the other hand, if we are practicing what appears to be assassination, are we not sanctioning it for others?

It would be great if we lived in a world where the intellectual purity of Dr. Paul’s position was embraced by all people. That is not the case. That world does not exist and will never exist as long as it is populated by humans.
