SSN: Maggy Hurchalla Drops a Bomb in Lake Point Appeal

Maggy Hurchalla Drops a Bomb in Lake Point Appeal

June 20, 2018
Environmental activist Maggy Hurchalla's appeal of a $4.3 million judgment by a Martin County jury on Feb. 14 has not gone well for her. At least, not until now.
Now Hurchalla, a former longtime county commissioner and one of Martin County's most prominent citizens, says she has evidence the jury foreman in the Lake Point Restoration tortious interference case against her was not a Martin County resident, as required by law -- grounds for a mistrial.
The Fourth District Court of Appeal has denied or dismissed most of Hurchalla's motions, including a previous request for a new trial, in case she lost in Martin County Circuit Court.

Jordan Peterson Lights Up The Right With Rational Explanations Of Why Tradition Matters

By
What makes Jordan Peterson’s message importantly different and provocative is not the content of his advice and rules, but rather the manner and strength of his rationale.

Editor: It's a real shame that essays of this importance on this subject seem to attract the most questionable "intellects" in the commentary section of their Blog post. It makes one think that there is some sort of strategy afoot to de-ligitimize the thoughts behind these posts. But that in itself surely smacks of "conspiricy theory." Maybe a reluctance to swallow the party line is common to both the extreme fringe and the patriot.

We firmly disavow any and all of the anti-semitic rants exhibited in the comment section.

Gatestone Institute - British 'Justice': Poppycock

British 'Justice': Poppycock

by

  • Instead of arresting rapists, the police, in at least a couple of cases, actually arrested people who had done nothing other than to try to rescue their children from the clutches of rapists.
  • So much concern – legitimately so – about the sacred right of the rapists to a fair trial, including the presumption of innocence and an opportunity to retain the lawyers of their choice – but so much readiness to excuse the denial of the same right to Robinson.
  • These decades of cover-ups by British officials are themselves unspeakable crimes. How many of those who knew, but who did nothing, have faced anything remotely resembling justice? Apparently none.
  • As any viewer of British TV news knows, a "trained professional journalist" in Britain observes all kinds of rules of professional conduct: he calls Muslims "Asians," he describes any critic of Islam, or anyone who attends a rally protesting the unjust incarceration of a critic of Islam, as a member of the "far right," and he identifies far-left smear machines as "anti-racist groups."

VICTORY: Federal Appeals Court Upholds Our National Motto, Dismissing Atheist Challenge to "In God We Trust" on Our Currency

By Laura Hernandez | 31 May 2018

A federal appellate court has just dismissed an atheist lawsuit, agreeing once again with our arguments that the National Motto – In God We Trust – does not violate the Constitution.
Earlier this week, the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit affirmed the lower court’s decision dismissing Michael Newdow’s lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the National Motto.  As we previously noted, atheists, represented by Michael Newdow argued that the mere presence of the National Motto on currency violates their Free Speech and Free Exercise Clause rights.  The atheists asserted that carrying currency equated to governmental compulsion to speak in support of the National Motto and to bear a “religiously offensive” message, in violation of the Free Exercise Clause and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA).
With your support, we filed a critical amicus brief on behalf of a bipartisan group of 38 Members of Congress, and the Committee to Protect the National Motto...

America Is NOT Tops in Mass Shootings; Help Stop the Lie

America Is NOT Tops in Mass Shootings; Help Stop the Lie

June 1, 2018
There it was again Thursday morning on National Public Radio -- the same old line we've heard repeated by CNN, CNBC, CBS, NBC, the BBC -- especially since Feb. 14: America has more deaths from mass shootings than anywhere else in the world.
Only, it doesn't.
True, America has a lot of handgun violence. But we don't have, as relentlessly suggested by news commentators, more mass shootings than anybody else and we're not the most gun-violent nation on the planet. Not even close.
