The hidden real truth about Benghazi

(ed.: Could this be why Romney did not engage Obama on this subject during the last debate?)

By Doug Hagmann  Sunday, October 28, 2012

Most people know that we’ve been lied to about the attacks in Benghazi, but few realize the extent of those lies or the hidden secrets they cover. After all, the lie is different at every level. Thanks to a well placed source with extensive knowledge about the attack, the disturbing truth is slowly beginning to emerge and is lining up with information contained in my previous articles published here weeks ago (Here, Here and Here). The truth reveals the most serious situation in the world today as it involves the interests and destinies of us all.

A mosaic of lies

According to the U.S. government, Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed during a spontaneous protest at the consulate office in Benghazi by a frenzied crowd of Muslims outraged over an obscure internet video. Recently released “sensitive but not classified e-mails” from Stevens to the U.S. Department of State painted a picture of poor security for U.S. personnel and the embassy, which was obviously truebut had little to do with the events of September 11, 2012. The failure to dispatch an extraction team or otherwise rescue the men during a firefight that lasted upwards of nine grueling and tortuous hours was not the result of any intelligence failure, but caused by our unwillingness to widen the conflict and expose the nature and scale of our true mission in Benghazi.

Based on information provided by my source and corroborated elsewhere, the official account by administration officials is a mosaic of lies that were necessary to cover the unpalatable truth of covert actions taking place in Libya, Syria, Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon. The primary objective of our covert actions was to secretly arm anti-Assad “rebels” in Syria by funneling arms from Libya to Syria via Turkey, with other destinations that included Jordan and Lebanon.  Regarding the threat to Stevens and the other murdered Americans, the truth will reformat the persistent question posed to government officials, from UN Ambassador Susan Rice to White House Spokesman Jay Carney and others from “how could you not have known” to “how could you have done these things?”

First, it is important to understand that Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Dougherty and Tyrone Woods were not killed at a consulate office in Benghazi—as there is not such office there. They died at one of the largest CIA operations centers in the Middle East, which was located in Benghazi and served as the logistics headquarters for arms and weapons being shipped out of the post-Qaddafi Libya.

New IG report slams USDOL green jobs training program - How effective was taxpayer $$ spent?

WASHINGTON – The Department of Labor’s Office of the Inspector General cast new doubt on the effectiveness of the Administration’s Green Jobs Training Program. According to the newly released report requested by Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa and Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Jim Jordan, the report revealed that the Department of Labor has further squandered taxpayer money since the program was flagged by the IG last year.

An October Surprise #tcot

An October Surprise

by Phyllis Schlafly | October 24, 2012

Eagle ForumPolitical pundits have been warning about an October Surprise that could affect the outcome of the presidential election. But this year’s October Surprise may have been the 9/11 murder of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens plus three other Americans, and President Obama’s deceitful, cowardly response.

The fallout is the collapse of the false narrative that the assassination of Bin Laden brought finality to Muslim threats, the proof of the failure of President Obama’s Middle East policy, and the coverup. A coverup is a bad act or false statement followed by an effort to conceal or mislead public knowledge.

Obama got away with his war on Libya without congressional approval because no Americans were killed. Now four Americans have been killed.

The 9/11 attack in Benghazi, Libya was a preplanned, calculated, organized, military-style assault on U.S. territory and personnel. But the Obama Administration persisted for two weeks in spinning the fairy tale that it was just the spontaneous outburst of a mob angry about an anti-Muslim video.

On Sept. 16, the Obama Administration sent UN Ambassador Susan Rice onto five Sunday TV programs to redundantly present the party line that the torching of the consulate and murder of the U.S. Ambassador were merely an angry mob reaction to an anti-Islam video made in the U.S. Rice called the event “spontaneous, not a premeditated response” that seemed “to have been hijacked” by “extremists who came with heavier weapons.”

White House spokesman Jay Carney insisted on Sept. 14 that the attack was all about an anti-Muslim video, saying, “We have no information to suggest that it was a preplanned attack.” He spent eight days denying the obvious before he admitted that the label of terrorism was “self-evident.”

When Obama spoke to the United Nations on Sept. 25, he announced “the vision we will support.” Expressing “outrage” at the anti-Islam video (which he mentioned six times), but not at the terrorists or violent enemies of the United States, Obama proclaimed that “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

In an emotional pitch to the UN, Obama announced that it’s the world’s duty to condemn the video. Obama and Administration spokesmen almost sounded like they were empathizing with the rioters, and that it must be our fault for allowing a video to be shown that hurt the rioter’s feelings.

Mitt Romney challenged Obama on the Libyan attack in the second presidential debate on Oct. 16. Obama responded by claiming he had called it a “terror” event the day after it happened, after which moderator Candy Crowley showed her bias by immediately backing up his statement.

Fact checkers emphatically pointed out Obama had made a vague reference to unspecified “acts of terror” in his Sept. 12 Rose Garden remarks, but he absolutely did not apply the “T” word to the fatal Benghazi attack. It took Obama two weeks to admit that we had suffered another deliberate enemy attack, meanwhile whining that suggestions that he would “mislead is offensive.”

Obama spent more time discussing the evils of the video than castigating any particular violent attack from the Muslim world. He said Ambassador Stevens was “killed” in Benghazi without mentioning who murdered him, much less labeling them as terrorists.

Obama is deeply committed to the myth of a liberating “Arab Spring” and “the forces of change” to bring about democracy in the Middle East. He seems oblivious to the reality of how his policy of dislodging dictators friendly to the United States, such as in Egypt and Libya, has resulted in rule by Islamist forces who attack and kill Americans.

The evidence is overwhelming that Ambassador Stevens and his tiny security staff had made repeated requests to the Obama Administration for enhanced security and more security staff. Fox News reported 230 prior security incidents in Libya.

Assistant Secretary of State Charlene Lamb, who was in charge of diplomatic security, testified on Oct. 10 that she had placed “the correct number of assets in Benghazi at the time of 9/11 for what had been agreed upon.” That doesn’t square with the denials of repeated requests for enhanced security measures and staff.

Obama revealed his messianic self-importance in this interview given on New Hampshire Public Radio on Nov. 21, 2007: “The day I’m inaugurated, not only the country looks at itself differently, but the world looks at America differently…. If I’m reaching out to the Muslim world, they understand that I’ve lived in a Muslim country, and I may be a Christian, but I also understand their point of view.”

We hope congressional investigations will keep digging. We still want to know, what did Obama and other Administration officials know and when did they know it.

Connie Mack in Stuart with Mayor Rudy Giuliani

Connie Mack came to Memorial Park in Stuart this Sunday with Mayor Rudy Giuliani to speak to the voters of Martin County. Both men spoke of the need to take the Senate so that a real budget can be passed to reduce the deficit and balance the budget. Mack made a point of emphasizing his position that nothing else should advance in the Senate until a budget is passed.

The video clip above is part of a 15 minute address (recorded by Richard Nickson of our group). We selected this shorter snip because of Congressman Mack's comment on defunding the United Nations. The Congressman then posed in front of our signs against U.N. Agenda 21.

Rep. Connie Mack speaks about the U.N.

We thanked Congressman Mack for posing with the sign, and he pulled out a marker and bent over to sign the sign (right over the "NO"), as he said, "I'll do this any time!"

WE ARE JUST DUMB #tcot

“So what do you want? Dumb Growth?” this feller yelled at me from across the meeting room. He thought he was smart. (I thought that smart was probably only the first half of his handle.) I was supposed to be instantly shamed into silence. I wasn’t. “Why yes I do,” I replied. “If you mean by that- dumb is what we want to do with our lives and property and smart is what you want to make us do. Under that definition, dumb is what built this country. If dumb means the people’s freedom to choose, then dumb is better.”

He was a government trained facilitator. He was not supposed to lose control. But he did. He slammed his briefcase shut and stormed out of the room. By now folks had figured out what he was really up to anyway, so for him, that might have been smart.

We, on the other hand, are just dumb.   Read the article on NewsWithViews...

Like ObamaCare, Obama Core Is Another Power Grab #tcot

by Phyllis Schlafly October 10, 2012

logobannerWhen we list the areas that Barack Obama wants to “fundamentally transform” as he promised before his 2008 election, let’s not overlook his plans for education. They are as fundamentally transformational, costly and dictatorial as ObamaCare.

It’s well known that public schools are not graduating students as well-educated as before, that Americans score poorly on international tests, and that billions of federal dollars showered on public schools have not achieved any of the designated goals, which were to raise test scores and to eliminate the gap between higher income and lower income students. The Obama progressives want us to believe that the remedy is to turn over total control to the federal government.

That’s illogical and unacceptable, but it fits right in with Obama’s attitude that there is no higher power than the federal government. If Obama is reelected, he will be able to accomplish this task with help from Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, a graduate of Chicago politics.
