World Economic Forum leads a ‘concerted effort’ for global socialism: Bernardi

World Economic Forum leads a ‘concerted effort’ for global socialism: Bernardi

The World Economic Forum is the “architect of the Great Reset” and aims to reduce people into mere economic vassals for a few oligarchs, according to Sky News host Cory Bernardi.

“There are certain warning signs we all need to be mindful of,” Mr Bernardi said. “Like when someone appears in your life and says ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help you’. Another warning sign is any organization with the term ‘world’ in their name.” Mr Bernardi pointed to the World Health Organisation, which “gave China a free pass on the Wuhan flu”. He also spoke of the World Food Programme, the World Meteorological Organisation, the World Tourism Organisation, the World Trade Organisation and the World Vegetable Centre. “All these authorities are pushing an agenda to decarbonize, deindustrialize, and disempower the Western world. They are part of a concerted plan to redesign capitalism in a new image,” Mr Bernardi said. “It’s spearheaded by the grand daddy organisation of them all – the World Economic Forum.”

Tablet: The Thirty Tyrants

The Thirty Tyrants

The deal that the American elite chose to make with China has a precedent in the history of Athens and Sparta

LEE SMITH | Feb. 03, 2021  |  The Thirty Tyrants - Tablet Magazine

In Chapter 5 of The Prince, Niccolo Machiavelli describes three options for how a conquering power might best treat those it has defeated in war. The first is to ruin them; the second is to rule directly; the third is to create “therein a state of the few which might keep it friendly to you.”

The example Machiavelli gives of the last is the friendly government Sparta established in Athens upon defeating it after 27 years of war in 404 BCE. For the upper caste of an Athenian elite already contemptuous of democracy, the city’s defeat in the Peloponnesian War confirmed that Sparta’s system was preferable. It was a high-spirited military aristocracy ruling over a permanent servant class, the helots, who were periodically slaughtered to condition them to accept their subhuman status. Athenian democracy by contrast gave too much power to the low-born. The pro-Sparta oligarchy used their patrons’ victory to undo the rights of citizens, and settle scores with their domestic rivals, exiling and executing them and confiscating their wealth.

The Athenian government disloyal to Athens’ laws and contemptuous of its traditions was known as the Thirty Tyrants, and understanding its role and function helps explain what is happening in America today.

BIG TECH: Florida Takes Aim at Social Media Censorship

Florida Takes Aim at Social Media Censorship

Anti-censorship law would sidestep Section 230 protections

Florida Anti-Censorship Proposal Seeks to Sidestep Section 230 Protections

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is taking a stand against social media censorship with a proposal that would allow tech platforms to be fined or sued for certain content-policing decisions.

While companies such as You-Tube, Facebook, and Twitter enjoy broad liability protection under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996, the proposal appears to attempt to sidestep those protections by asking for more transparency, tying anti-censorship measures to state election regulations, and giving users more control over content policing.

Section 230 shields internet platforms from liability for “any action voluntarily taken in good faith to restrict access to or availability of material that the provider or user considers to be obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.”

Some have argued that social media companies have interpreted “otherwise objectionable” too broadly and that it wasn’t meant to encompass political speech that the companies claim to find “objectionable.”

Forbes Attacks Mercola — Gives One Hour to Respond

Forbes Attacks Mercola — Gives One Hour to Respond

Analysis by Dr. Joseph Mercola | February 04, 2021

  • Forbes runs a hit piece on me and other vaccine safety advocates, questioning whether we should have received federal PPP loans given our views on vaccines
  • The argument that we should not receive federal assistance “given our views on vaccines” is as authoritarian as it gets, which is perhaps what one should expect, given that Forbes is owned by a Chinese company
  • Forbes received a PPP loan in the amount of $8,036,000 in April 2020, which raises a far more obvious and reasonable question: Why are American taxpayers subsidizing a Chinese-owned media company?
  • Evidence shows Forbes has, since being bought up by a Chinese media investment company in 2014, lost its editorial independence
  • The PPP non-story was twisted into a supposed “scandal” by yet another propaganda machine: the U.K.-based Center for Countering Digital Hate, which is openly calling for de-platforming anyone who raises questions and concerns about COVID-19 vaccines

In 2014, the Chinese company Integrated Whale Media Investments bought 95% controlling interest in Forbes.

Sen. Rand Paul, 24 GOP Colleagues Seek to REIN on Biden’s Regulatory Parade

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and 24 of his Republican colleagues in the Senate on Jan. 28 introduced a proposal that could become a huge obstacle for President Joe Biden’s ambitious re-regulatory plans.

The “Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act of 2021” (REINS) would require that any new regulation proposed by an executive branch department or agency must be approved by Congress if it’s projected to cost $100 million or more to implement.

Epoch Times

“Under the REINS Act, once major rules are drafted, they must then be affirmatively approved by both chambers of Congress and then signed by the President, satisfying the bicameralism and presentment requirements of the Constitution. Currently, regulations ultimately take effect unless Congress specifically disapproves,” according to a statement issued by Paul’s office, with comments by him and Sens. Mike Lee (R-Utah), Roger Marshall (R-Kan.), and Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.).
