Larry Metz and Aaron Bean

An effort in Tallahassee to propose congressional term limits is getting some national play as a political group showcased it on Monday.
U.S. Term Limits, one of the leading groups in the nation pushing congressional term limits, highlighted proposals to call a constitutional convention under Article V to solely tackle the subject of federal term limits. State Sen. Aaron Bean, R-Jacksonville, and Florida Rep. Larry Metz, R-Groveland, filed memorials on the matter on Thursday.

EXPOSED: The billionaire Planned Parenthood donor who wants his donations kept very, very secret

Abby Johnson | Thu Oct 1, 2015
Sept. 28, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) - Three weeks after I left my job at the clinic, Planned Parenthood took me to court. I am always asked, “Why would they take you to court? Did they have something to hide?” Well, yes. They absolutely had something to hide. They didn’t want me sharing the information in this article. Let’s expose the truth, shall we?
Yes, I do realize that releasing this information puts me in a precarious situation. But it’s always better for the truth to be out…no matter the cost.
It was life changing. I remember the first time we were able to make an appointment with our new funding…it was called “The Justice Fund.” After we had given the woman all of the necessary information about her abortion appointment, we asked her if she wanted to apply for a funding program to help pay for her abortion. She of course said yes. We went through her income and expenses and determined she was eligible for funding. We informed her that she would only have to pay $100 of the $400 cost. The woman began to cry on the phone. So I began to cry. Wow. We were going to change so many lives with this money, this “Justice Fund.”

C.R.: NY Cop Killer Perfect Case Study Against 'Get Out of Jail Free' Bill

NY Cop Killer Perfect Case Study Against 'Get Out of Jail Free' Bill

By: Daniel Horowitz | October 22nd, 2015

Earlier this week, we got a real-life glimpse into the world of “nonviolent” drug offenders for which the political class has so passionately expressed their love and admiration.  As noted earlier this week in our fact sheet on the criminal justice bill and the talking points behind it, the push to release tens of thousands of people from federal prison is being fueled by this notion that we are needlessly incarcerating a number of harmless pot smokers.  The case of the New York cop killer should serve as a superlative example of why this is not true and why the movement to retroactively release a number of drug traffickers is so dangerous.

On Tuesday night, nestled between the single hearing on the criminal justice bill (S.2123) on Monday and the markup today, Tyrone Howard shot and killed Randolph Holder, a New York police officer, while fleeing the scene of another murder.

SSN: Returning to Regular Order

Returning to Regular Order: GOP Priority

During the past few weeks and recent days,‭ ‬the House Republican Conference has experienced a ripple of change in our congressional leadership,‭ ‬causing us to refocus the future of our party.‭ ‬In assessing a resolution to this situation,‭ ‬the answer is not merely to rearrange‭ ‬the faces of our leadership and expect that our problems will be solved.‭ ‬In fact,‭ ‬the answer is quite the contrary.‭ ‬Because there is a clamor across our nation for strong,‭ ‬conservative leadership,‭ ‬we need a fresh start,‭ ‬not just fresh faces.‭
We need to restore a legislative process where all members are included,‭ ‬where legislative ideas are debated and considered well in advance of deadlines,‭ ‬and where the American public can witness government in deliberation,‭ ‬not deadlock.‭ ‬In other words,‭ ‬we need to exercise what our Founding Fathers gave us:‭ ‬regular order.
For years,‭ ‬crisis-to-crisis governing by this Congress has become the norm.‭

Imprimis:Justice and the Obama Justice Department

Michael B. MukaseyFormer U.S. Attorney General

--------------------------------------------
If you think about it, it makes sense that in America—the only nation in the world to define itself not by blood or land, but by a law, the Constitution—the government agency charged with enforcing that law, and enforcing the laws passed under it, would be called the Department of Justice. As such, the work of the Justice Department is highly important. It plays a fundamental role in our nation’s life, because its work has to do in one way or another with how honest, how fair, and how safe our country is.
That being said, I’m regretful to have to add that in a country where honesty, fairness, and safety are so strongly influenced by one department of government, over the past six years—largely because of that department’s work—our country has grown less honest, less fair, and less safe than it ought to be. Let me give you some examples.
